Lori Augugliaro, MSPT

Lori Augugliaro, MSPT, has been a physical therapist at Bridge Rehabilitation for the past two years. She received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Exercise Physiology at Hoftstra University and completed her Masters Degree in Physical Therapy at Long Island University in 2000, graduating Summa Cum Laude. She has varied experience working in both hospital and outpatient orthopedic clinics, treating adolescent to geriatric patients, and in the public school system as a pediatric therapist. Currently, Lori is completing her certification to become a Pilates Instructor. In the future, Lori has plans to compete coursework on Pediatric Pilates, and to eventually become certified as an Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS), a very highly respected, advanced certification in the field of physical therapy.
Margarate La Fave, MSPT

Margarate La Fave, MSPT, graduated from Russell Sage College Physical Therapy program with a combined Bachelors / Masters Degree in May, 2003. She worked in several outpatient orthopedic clinics before joining the team at Bridge Rehab in the spring of 2004. Having competed for four years as a NCAA student athlete and seven years as a member of the US Diving Team, Margaret maintains a strong interest in orthopedics and has personal insight regarding sport related injuries and the needs of the serious athlete. Margaret has also completed extensive work with the geriatric population, completing graduate work in both Adult Neurological and Geriatric Seminars. She completed a graduate thesis on the fear of falling and its relationship with loss of balance in the elderly as well as an evidence-based project investigating the use of Tai Chi for improving balance in the elderly. Margaret also plans to begin working towards her Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree in the coming years.
Emmanuel “Manny” Jonnakuti, MSPT

Emmanuel “Manny” Jonnakuti, MSPT, has been a part-time Physical Therapist at Bridge Rehab since it opened in 2001. Manny graduated in 1982 with a Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy from Christian Medical College and Hospital in India, and then eceived his Advanced Masters degree in Orthopedic Physical Therapy from Touro College in Bay Shore New York in 2000. He is currently a supervisor of Physical Therapy at Nassau University Medical Center, in East Meadow New York, a position he has held there for the past ten years. In addition to providing excellent care to his patients at Bridge Rehab, Manny is certified as a functional capacity evaluator and has taken coursework in the field of Industrial Rehabiliation. He has a strong dsesire to treat indivuals with orthopedic and sports related injuries as well as assisting individuals in their goal to return to work.
Kristine Seghposs, LMT

Kristine Seghposs, LMT, has been a proud member of Bridge Rehab since August 2002. Kristine is passionate about sharing her holistic approach to health. She studied at the Swedish Institute of Massage Therapy in Manhattan New York and graduated with an Associates Degree in Occupational Studies in December 2000. While studying at the Sweidsh Institute, she had the opportunity to intern at diverse settings such as the New York City Marathon and the Cabrini Pain Center in Manhattan. There she utilized her assessment and treatment skills to assist in the healing of patients with soft tissue conditions. Upon graduation, Kristine treated private clients at worked in various wellness centers and health spas including Gurney’s International Health and Beauty Spa in Montauk, New York. Kristine has an interesting approach to bodywork. Her specialty is combining Eastern and Western modalities using techniques including myofascial release, deep tissue and trigger point therapy, assisted breathing, and acupressure for a unique therapeutic experience.
Befresfrod “Anthony” Lewis, LMT

Befresfrod “Anthony” Lewis, LMT, has been a licensed Massage therapist for three years and has been providing care to Bridge Rehab patients for just as long. He graduated from the Swedish Institute in New York City and has experience working at such health clubs as NY Sports Club, Equinox, and Synergy Day Spa. Prior to becoming a Massage Therapist, Anthony spent sixteen years in the financial world as a commodities broker. He decided to change careers because of his love for helping people heal from injury and because of his athletic background. Throughout High School and College, Anthony studied martial arts and was a track and field athlete. He trained to become a decathlete in college. He is skilled in reflexology, meditation, myofascial release, medical massage, and Shiatsu.
Matthew Katcher, LMT

Matthew Katcher is a New York State Licensed Massage Therapist. He graduated from New York College for Holistic, Health, Education and Research wehre he received an Associate Degree in Massage Therapy and Health Sciences. The program consisted of 1500 hours of intensive massage therapy training and science classes. He graduated in December 2000 and passed his NY State License Exam in June 2001. After completing his education, Matthew became certified in Manual Trigger Point Therapy, Shiatsu, Reflexology Level 1 and Certified in Craniosacral Therapy & Myofascial Release, Level 1 & 2. His experience has varied in both Orthopedic and Spa environments. Included in his massage therapy are Eastern and Western massage and Amma and European modalities. Presently Matthew is working toward his degree in Acupuncture. He is studying at the New York College for Traditional Chinese Medicine. He is a member of the American Massage Therapy Association and New York College Alumni Association.
